While techwear takes some inspo from military and law enforcement, the general tone in this thread is not really to relate it to that, simply because techwear isn't about being a mallninja or a tacticool wannabe operator.

There is no strict definition of techwear. It could be just incorporating a technical piece of clothing into a fit, or going full Acronym.

Meme techwear: Black hardshell, black tech fleece joggers, black backpack, runners of some type (***has*** to be Nike or Adidas), and a balaclava.

Yes, well, that's the name of the game. Tech stems from a lot of asian brands and influence, which leads to availability problems. Not to mention, it's not very popular, and can go south really fast if you don't have the right finesse. You either look like a mall goth or a tacticool mallninja if you buy the wrong stuff.

Hi senpai, I just bought an Arcteryx Zeta AR jacket and need some shoes that go with it. Pic related, it's my techwear fit and some shoes I am looking at. I don't want Nike or Adidas, and I already have some pairs of pumas which I like a lot. I just need something black that goes with the jacket and the cap. A lot of tech shell are really breathable. It's about the same weather where I live and an Epic Cotton jacket with ventilation and a tee is enough to keep me comfortable.

Also may want to check out maharishi and veilance both have pretty good summer-friendly techwear items.
