Also pair of chinos I dyed black from beige and waxed so they hold up better during winter

Entirely black
Except the stitching of course cause it's polyester. But I had some acrylic paint on hand that I finished the stitching with.
I use Dylon dye.

this not as a condemnation of your understanding, or as an attempt to jack myself off or whatever, but he's entirely justified if a bit self-satisfied
swans has made radically different music, starting as no-wave, then working through noise rock, gothic rock, folk stuff, post-rock, etc.
filth-era is really attractive to people getting into swans for an image rather than the actual music, because it has an edgy cover (see pic related), isn't very accessible (e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGwpmd8oPV4)) but is widely seen as an indicator of "good taste" in music groups, and further, swans is the kind of band the general public doesn't know about, so it has a certain cachet for someone trying to distinguish themselves as a tastemaker or whatever amongst friends
again, not condemning no-wave or cop/filth/such, but there's definitely a sizeable population of people who match what I described and make talking about swans really fucking painful

Dyed this shit my self. Used to be blue. Sewed on arm patches and hand sewed in some dyed fishermans net and let it drape down

Typography is not great. As a rule, never use the built-in computer fonts for print work. Go ask /gd/ for typeface recommendations. Or just use Futura.

Oh, I wasn't planing on printing it, but thanks for the tip with the fonts, it was bothering me that I couldn't find a decent one.
I'll try Futura

Wasn't particularly pleased with the pair I did about a year ago.
Even though the package says not to you have to iron it in to get a nice and even result, and even then the supposed water resistance is still sub-par. It also washes out in one or two times.
I also didn't like the matte white sheen it gave on my black jeans. I was hoping for something shiny, but instead got some weird, off-black, stiff, and occasionally flaking pair of jeans.
Would not recommend Otterwax.

>> No.10695670

>>10695498

this.

I wax a pair of gray jeans because they make the pants darker and stiffer. If you are trying to get shiny pants dont do it. you can actually paint your jeans with shiny black paint to get a much better effect.

What fabric dye do you guys recommend?

Tried using Rit's black dye dye, but all it does is turn my grays dark gray, and my whites charcoal

M65, bomber, literally any army jacket would work silhouette wise. Go for jackets with less gaudy designs, preferably no pattern at all.
Trucker jackets look good too
