10653949 No.10653949[DELETED]  [Reply] [Original]

I want to lose weight, more specifically, lose weight so I can have a more pronounced and low bf% face.
I am about 5'9" to 5'10" weighing about 160-165 lbs (I used to be fat, so this is mostly remaining skin and fat, not muscle). I am 17 and vegetarian. Any recommended exercise routines? Thanks (pic related: closest thing I could find to my current body).

>i want to lose more weight
No, no you don't.

You want some muscle mass to fill out what you've got. Added bonus, increased muscle mass=higher metabolism=easier to lose fat..

If you don't want the powerlifter or body lifter look then stick to body weight exercises. Of which the big three are push-ups, sit-ups, and squats. Obviously reasearch more for variety and balance.

The great thing about bodyweight exercises is that you can do them anywhere for free. You can do tricep dips with the seat of your kitchen chairs (on carpet preferably) and chest dips if the back is strong enough and balanced. Get three chairs positioned for apike press to work your shoulders if you can't do a handstand press. Etc etc.

true

join a sports team, any sport works and work ur ass off

had a fatfuck as a friend, he and i swam competitvely in highschool, he was slow as shit as a freshman and i kicked his ass (i looked like a greek god)
he started going to 6 pratices a week (sometimes 2 practices a day) and eating right
as a senior he looked so fucking athletic and buff it was insane, he also broke a highschool state record for swim

>> No.10654667

This is not true. You can hit the iron and don't gain mass, but strength. I compete in [combat sport] and do squats, dead lifts and many other iron excercises to gain strength and grip and explosive strength.
Right now I do 8 excercises of squats 2 times a week, and 1 day of arms and back, to improve endurance and explosiveness.

(sorry for my english, this shit is hard to translate, I'm not used to use this terms in english).

The world isn't
>you wanna get big? do irons
>you wanna get slim? do bodyweight

Sorry but it's not. It's an insult to phisical education to even think that way.

I'm 6" 70kgs and 10% bf, and skinny legged (/fa thinks it's awesome, I would prefer having bulky legs).

What OP needs is cardio and good weight training.
OP: Go to a gym with certified instructors ask for strength training, not mass building. And don't even think in going to crossfit (crossbullshit) or any stupid "functional training".

Take my word, I'm a guy who trains to be functional, aka: FIGHT. crossfiters are the weakest, most injured pieces of crap around.

This is absolutely excellent advice. While I'm personally partial to weight training, cardio is a phenomenal way to be both healthy and to achieve the low body fat percentage you're looking for. As the poster above says, avoid crossfit and other bullshit - you just need to do cardio as much and as long as possible.

5'11 174lbs here. Just stop posting and go to the gym. At your current state you will get results doing anything. Just walk around picking shit up or do the machines like an old lady. Watching your body change and your clothes fit better should be motivation enough to keep lifting. Eventually you'll learn proper form and get on a good routine. As far a diet goes anyone with half a brain knows what a good diet looks like, but fatties choose to make excuses why they can't eat right.

Your body is disgusting, senpai.

I'm 6'1" and 170 lbs but way more aesthetic than you are. Muscles aren't fashionable. Nothing will fit you properly with proportions like that. You want to be a muscle man go join the army or something.

Dude, I don't think it's the fact that you're wearing colour.

Let me illustrate:
>>10655491
>>10655499

Are these ladies' cardigans? Because they have that glaring Vero Moda aesthetic. I'm pretty sure my mom has two cardigans that are identical to these. And don't think I'm above wearing ladies' clothes. I go thrifitng a lot and some women's sweaters and jeans are just more comfy. But I always avoid the obvious frills, ribbing and cuts that are used in women's clothing.

Also the skirt thing is very waiter-ish. If it's any consolence, you're not that far off on colour blocking in this outfit. If the shirt would have been shorter, the colour blocking would've been on point.

>>10655531
Could have been a 8/10 fit, but your shoes ruin it completely. Black shoes, with all these soft colours? It rarely works, summer dress/combat boots is good example of a working version. Black sneakers don't have the same impact.

Also, your shirt is a bit too long, again.

>>10655509
Somewhere in a parallel universe, this is a 10/10 fit.

I sorta like it, on some strange level. Wait, no, I like the concept, the execution is so very unfortunate.
