Just got a pair. Put an insole in for a little more cushioning and arch support. I really like the sole, takes me back to my tennis playing days. Light canvas looks better than padded uppers in summer imo. Less common than Stan Smith's and better styled than vans or chucks.

The black colorway is suede with way more texture than normal nike suede. The zipper is heavy duty and the shoe is panelled around it. The extra long tongue is a nice finish to give it a high end feel. I was initially torn on the patent leather, but in person, the black on black works real well.

I have all 3 in white lol. Favorites are the AF1 mids followed by canvas sk8 his then the leather sk8 his. Was honestly kinda disappointed with the leather sk8 his. Just didn't feel good on my feet despite trying a couple sizes.

But you can literally wear whatever with these type of shoes. I'm a lanky son of a bitch and usually rock slim light blue jeans. I've gotten compliments on all 3 pairs of shoes.
