In my experience, the shirt fabric is fantastic. The prints are pretty good too, you can't just go for vibrant colors of things you would expect to pull off with screen printing.

The only graphic tees I wear are touristy San Francisco ones, I like the look in almost shia core. I have a bape tee or two as well.

Look for interesting but not graphic tees. Panels, flecks, stripes, dyes, maybe small embroidered logos or the like. If you see a tee you like with a design that clearly fits a desired aesthetic. Go for it. Otherwise it will look cringe and just bad.
