Mate, do you know how hard it is to get a skin with the right thickness and sheen of a specific criteria. That jacket probably used hand picked skins off a batch. What you see on that site is random skins of varying thickness, that's why they are so cheap.

The same goes for croc leather. You can get a croc skin for way cheap, but it is hard to find a skin with proper pattern and scale sizes when you are looking to make a specific type of leather item.

They look like YKK or YKK rip offs, but they certainly aren't Racc which would place them as much newer. DRKSHDW shoes ran Raccagni for a little longer than mainline (in fact all DRKSHDW outerwear I've seen still uses Raccagni) but considering these would be mainline, it would place them at SS14 at the oldest.

Several reasons, many stores have them in all sizes ranging from 1300-2000 and nobody is rushing to buy them full price. They aren't exactly rare like they were seasons ago when you couldn't even find them online, but they were also longer and had a blistered leather. Now they are calf length, which aren't as long as I would like personally and I think others agree.

Ultimately they are still wildly expensive and more one dimensional than most other Rick shoes. Your average rich joe is going to have no idea how to style these while Ramones high tops are going to be digestible.

The ones on grailed are legit, but that particular user only has posted shitty sizes (no 43 - 44). I inquired about that and they said they could order them, but I don't know why you wouldn't just get the most common shoe sizes in the first place.
