the best you can do to define your curls is apply a spray (sea salt, if you were going to do it yourself, but you can get some shit from a salon or dept store for like $5 that will do the trick) and apply it all the way through while it's damp with a comb or some shit, though with your hair it doesn't look like you own one

(jk you'd have to, I have curly hair too)

comb it through while it's damp, do NOT towel dry (you can squeeze out some of the excess water with a towel, but do not shake your hair dry in the towel

air dry

I like to do this at night before bed, then when I wake up my hair is soft with curls still defined

if you get smthing that makes your hair "crispy", just scrunch that shit up a bit
