>> No.10392761

is it a watch that just reminds you to stand or what

>> No.10392762

not yet. it will. good for functionality tho.

Yeah I guess it will be for about the next 3 to 10 months when the Apple watch 2 comes out. I suggest that you just invest in a different watch.

Coming from a guy that inherited a vast collection of automatic watches, including two rolexes, a cartier, etc.

What would be more /fa/ in your eyes on a 19 year old? A nice automatic, or an apple watch?

I've been wearing a Rolex since I was 16; and rarely does it come into the conversation with the typical person. I'm assuming because its too intimidating, or they think it's fake so dont bother commenting.

On the other hand Apple watch is an instant conversation starter.

Nah. If you want a 'power watch' get one of these... (Donald Trump wears one)

>> No.10392986

Depends . If you're on a country where having one isn't that unheard of, like the US, people might actually think you're a faggot/isheep or just generally gay.

meanwhile in countries where expensive gadgets are seen as a sign of affinity , people are probably gonna look at you as well off and a bit effy for the watch.

Actually I went to a private school.

Everyone and their mothers had expensive watches, cars, shoes, etc. One of my classmate's families, owned every McDonalds in the region . So obviously that can tell you something about the school.

I was more talking about in general on the streets, outside of the rich people where it was the norm.

And like I mentioned, I'm 19 now in college, so this is where I was mentioning the lack of mention towards the luxury watches.

And my typical classmates, who i dont see outside of class, wont be seeing my $100,000 car, and whatever else can be considered a luxury.

What I was trying to convey is : considering how many poor people are in my college, fake rolexes must be a common thing, so people wouldnt guess you have a real one.

Overpriced, will be outdated and out of style within the next few months.

It is the total opposite of /fa/. Being /fa/ would mean creating your own style and inventing your own fashion. Wearing an apple watch is exactly the opposite, is it the quintessential symbol of conformity.

also i mainly bought it because i never hear or feel my phone ringing, so i thought a watch vibrating on the wrist might be a good idea. thought wrong. the vibration is so weak that i barely feel it and still miss calls, at the same time it buzzes so loud its impossible to wear in an office environment without getting stares. no subtlety
