You're going to have to bleach the color out of it a few times before they'll add toner to give it a silver hue. Would wait roughly 2 weeks between bleachings~

it'll probably take a few bleaches before it becomes platinum. never double process though or else your hair will end up feeling like shit. I didn't use olaplex during the final bleach for mine and now it feels like shit unless I cover it in coconut oil and even then there's breakage.

i personally love it... if it's done well. a lot of the time people who have little to no experience with bleaching/dyeing/toning and maintaining bleached/dyed/toned hair will end up having pale yellow and lilac patches, and as someone with 10yrs of experience with it, it's kind of a pet peeve of mine.

i think it can look good on anyone!! believe in urself! but if u have no idea what ur doing u should definitely see a professional! using purple shampoo is also good for maintaining the color (so it doesn't get that pale yellow look), my favorite is the bleach blondes shampoo from lee stafford (the dark purple one, using it maybe once a week is enough, twice if ur hair has turned yellow already). purple shampoo is also v good for ash blond hair, and basically to remove yellow tones from light hair in general. if u get it done and u end up not liking how it looks u could always use a box dye in ur natural color (european box dyes tend to be stronger than american ones iirc), unless ur natural color is blond (box dyes will usually be too dark, too red, too green or too grey), in that case maybe wait until ur roots have grown out and have a professional match that.

i've had it a few times, it's definitely one of my favorite colors to have. would've kept it forever if doing my roots wasn't such a chore.

it's a good look for u!! i love it! how long since you did it though? ur hair is starting to look a lil yellow tbh. did u perhaps put the toner in wet hair? or use the silver toner from la riché directions? bc that one's p bad. if ur doing it again i would suggest using schwarzkopf L101 if u can get ur hands on it. it's a pack of bleach (v strong i think, so hopefully it can handle ur roots), but the toner (or "anti-yellow mask") that comes with it has been fantastic for me. in the directions it says to put the toner in wet hair and leave for 15 minutes or something like that, but i find that for best results (especially if ur hair doesn't bleach white) u should put it in dry hair and leave for an hour. (the toner of course!! not the bleach! always follow the instructions when it comes to bleach!!) u can leave the toner in for as long as u want, bc it's basically just a colored conditioner, so it doesn't damage your hair.

I did it a while back and just bought two sets of it and did it myself. I made my hair very yellow not platinum and it's splotchy as fuck. So I went and got it coloured professionally and use a toner like once every two weeks so it stays a bit splotchy instead of completely white. It looks dope and I get endless compliments. It's certainly not traditionally attractive though, it is not like lucky blue. However now all the girls I get are weird as fuck with coloured hair and shit. I mean I'm not complaining about it but I used to be able to get normal suburban rich girls and now I can't to save my life.
