I remember ereading a post here a while ago that said something like fashion was heading towards greater and greater androgyny. A lot of the clothes here are traditional mens clothes cut slightly differently. Well known fashion houses seem to disagree, judging by the most recent collections. Skirts and dress are still very commonly used. And those are even more feminine than the sort of style that I proposed.

This is an argument of semantics where some one is trying to pretend they're entirely ignorant of intent to make argumentative point.

The post that began all of this was commenting on high heels.
Someone replied about it being too lazy to wear a small heel which was never mentioned in the first post.

They obviously are either labouring under a misunderstanding of what people mean when they talk about heels or they are purposefully including practically all shoes that aren't trainers. Because I don't know if you've ever looked under a ballet flat but most of those tend to have a small rubber heel rather than a sole that's flat all across and I don't know a single person who means those when they talk about heels.

So while that may be a heeled shoe in a basic sense of the world it's obviously not what anyone means when they're saying heels are uncomfortable or not practical and to try to argue that it's what anyone means and is what anyone would be opposed to is completely retarded.
