This is why I don't bother with fashion. I come here from time to time to look at pictures of nice clothes. But it would be pointless for me to wear them because I have bad proportions and a boring face. Every time I see a fit that is getting positive feedback on fashion forums the person on it has great proportions. Mine look awkward. On a good day when I leave the house I'm a strong 8, weak 9. I'm 18, have modelled when I was younger and have unintentionally attracted a posse of 15 year old girls at work. Also a few of the older average ones want to fuck me, and I'm constantly catching pretty girls looking at me out of the corner of my eye.
No I don't get to walk up to random girls and ask them to date me knowing they'd say yes, because I'm still human and I'm still bound by the same social laws as my friends (which are inept at making positive life and fashionable decisions)
I'm also pretty vain, I appreciate beauty so unless a girl is the complete package and I'd be willing to let her have the 'social status' of dating me I'd never go further than meaningless flirting to con my way into free coffee or cheaper items at stores.
I regretfully let a 6 suck my dick at a party, I literally didn't say a word apart from 'you can sleep on my shoulder if it's more comfortable'. Now all her average friends think they have a chance and it's quite frustrating and sad having to turn them down, it makes me feel guilty.
I also feel guilty for a lot of people that don't care about their appearance because they were born not so attractive.
I also get insecure in the rare event there's someone more beautiful than me in the room.

Most people rate me from 7-9 so I guess I'm approximately an 8. Personally I don't think about it and disagree with what I'm rated as, that might just be self-conciousness though.

I do notice that girls try and get your attention a lot, whenever you look around in a busy city centre or shopping area, there will most likely be at least one person trying to make eye contact.

I display a relatively confident persona and coupled with my looks I feel like I get preferential treatment when with my friends. As others have mentioned, I do feel as though people interpret any interactions I make with girls in relationships as threatening the boyfriend, if that makes sense.

In the end, if anything, being assured I'm attractive has meant that I have one less thing to worry about. I don't pride myself on it, and when it comes down to it, if you have awful social skills then being good looking doesn't mean much. It gets you part of the way and beyond then you're on your own, as I found out the hard way.
