I have the most shit-tier eyes for a female. They're extremely hooded. My eyes are big, but my hooded lid folds over my crease to the point where it touches the base of my eyelashes. They're like fat people eyes, but I'm not fat.

I've looked up ways to make hooded eyes appear less hooded, but mine are more hooded than any female doing the tutorials. I've attempted the make up tricks and it just don't look right.

Is there any other way to fix this other than surgery? Would eyelid tape work?

I think my eyebrow shape makes it look worse too. I have very straight eyebrows without much real estate to work with or shape. And there's no way in hell I'm gonna draw that shit in, since I have light brown/blonde eyebrows.

Pic related. Top pic is more similar to my eye shape, a little worse.

Maybe my under eye baggage makes my eyes look more droopy? I like my bags though. Also, this is me without make up, so I'm vulnerable right now..

See the issue is that when I put eyeshadow on, most of the product disappears into that heavy crease. It can make my eyes just look droopy/trashy. Rather than lifting and defining my eye.

Yea, this seems to be the only thing that works for me. The darker I go with make up, the less apparent the hood is. It's just weird going dark smokey during the day, every day.

>>10286977
Maybe if I put make up on, you can notice the problem more. A lot of my eyelid skin disappears under that hooded crease.

>> No.10286981

If you care that much, there is surgery for it.

>> No.10286995

>>10286981
I know there is. But I'm hesitant to get surgery on anything. fearing that it may look worse than before. Maybe something for the future, but I don't have the funds for it right now. So I was looking for an alternative to help right now.

Don't wanna hijack your thread, but wanted to ask - do I have hooded eyes?

>> No.10287044

They look very slightly hooded. On the plus, you still have an area above your lashline that is visible.

If I put eyeliner on, my hood eats it.

tbh I dont think they look bad, nor will people notice that theyre hooded, but since youre looking close up into a mirror at them inspecting them its probably amplifying your thoughts on it when its not really noticeable. Lets see a pic of them with makeup or eyeliner on. I think they look pretty cute without makeup though jus sayin

Yea, I will put some on right now. I was searching through old photos I already have in make up, but I angle my face so it's less apparent. Let me put some make up on. Also, if my eyes are puffy and swollen, they look worse, but I know cold spoon or ice can help that. Or sometimes I will wake up and one lid is very hooded, the other is not as bad. It's frustrating because it will make my make up look very uneven.

I guess it's my genetic birth defect. Everyone on my dad's side has the droops.

Okay so I used to have eyes like this. Feel around under the droopey bit, is it all fat and tissue or is there bone that making it more prominent. If its bone, you can get it scraped away. If its tissue and fat you could get a brow lift. Im not sure of any other procedures that would correct it though.

Makeup wise, just do it with your eyes open. completely fucking ignore your lid and just blend from your visible crease outwards. That way when your eyes are open, your makeup wont make it more obvious. Try going very light on the inner corner and making it darker and pulling it towards the brow towards the outer corners. Then highlight under it on to your cheek. All this should correct the droop.

Here's a pic. I didn't do it perfect But just to show how much of the make up is going into the crease. "normal" make up makes my eye look very droopy.

It feels like both. The bone is very close to my eyeball. There's a lot of fatty tissue over it as well.

I have noticed that if I use my brush to go deeper into the crease, it does lift it slightly. Thank you for tips too!

I know I look fine overall, it just really limits what I can do with make up. And small make up mistakes will make me look trashy.

On a good day, I can pull that off, On a tired day, my droopy eyes will make me look sick as fuck. And not in a /fa/ way. I don't really do face make up. No concealer or foundation, but my eyes can totally throw off my whole face.

I looked her up, her cheekbones are so nice that it takes away from the hooded eye. I have decent cheekbones, maybe i'll focus on them more.

I can't do really defining eye shadow looks. Always have to do make up a certain way. Sometimes they're uneven. Makes my eyes appear smaller than they are.

Theres literally nothing wrong with hooded eyes and who gives a fuck if you cant see your caked on eye shadow as much? Its seriously not something you should worry about.

You have to wear makeup for the face you have, yeah you have to do your makeup differently but so does everybody else for certain things of their body when it comes to clothing/hair/makeup etc. Karlie Kloss, Jennifer Lawrence all these hooded eye bitches look sexy as fuck and their eyes in particular are what make them beautiful. Just do your makeup correctly.

It makes your eyes look droopy cause your just doing makeup intended for an almond eye. If you've got the cash go buy Kat Von D shade and light eye palette. Great colours and comes with instructions on how to correct a droopy eye.
