Post what you're working on if you're working on anything, discuss.

Gonna start off with something i'm finishing up, mmm converse. Picked up 60 dollar leather converse and went to town. they're drying now, will post results in the morning. I did so much reading on how other folks have attempted this with mixed results, so i'm hoping i did ok.

glidden professionals speedwall interior latex white paint. I tested a real pair of mmm converse and it was just latex based paint, so i picked up a bucket. Also i ran into another diy of someone who used this paint in their attempt, and they came out well. The color underneath is navy.

that depends on the fabric. if it's mainly cotton and you dye it to a darker colour (in this case black is pretty much your only option) it'll be fine. dye doesn't stick to polyester etc. very well so make sure it has at least ~80% cotton and you'll get solid black.

Put a rock in each knee of leg, tie calf and thigh so that rock stays firmly in place of knee. Go outside and scrape it across the cement a bunch until it starts fraying and then just wear them and let nature do the rest. Never tested this good luck lmao.

I made a pill lapel out of an old lapel I had laying around.

May cover up the error with a black line.
