Having said that, its not the end of the world. Freshers at my halls in Liverpool was cringey as fuck. Lots of 'young' 18 year olds somehow only doing drugs for the first time/going to shitty clubs.

You'll be surrounded by that even if you end up in private. Other than the people I lived with, all my friends ended up being people I met at events/house parties rather than people around my halls.

The thing about Northeastern's finance program is that it's actually really good and you will make a ton of connections that are worth the cash. but the first year classes suck and weed people out not via being hard but via being boring as shit.

Also yeah be ready for alot of Indians and Chinese kids. The business majors aren't great and all dress in failed prep.
