Heh, better get a Casio.

I understand your feels though, I'd love it if Casio, Timex or any other brand made clean, clear LCD watches. Instead, they just stick with what was originally a means to market all the features on the watch so you could know them while looking at it behind the window display, and that now became a style.

But every nice digital watch is overpriced as fuck because it's "simple". It's like extra features come free but removing them costs money. It's fucking absurd.

You should check Braun watches though. Yes, Braun makes watches, and they're alright. And they're absolutely simple. Pic related.

Pro tip: when you swap straps, the old one stays with you and you can swap it back if you feel like it.

It's a watch. It has a 7s26 movement. It's cluttered as fuck and really ugly compared to the SKXs but do whatever. There's really not much to say about the watch, you already know it follows the Seiko 5/7s26 standards.

Could be a stolen & dumped product. A dumb nigger might have stolen it not knowing what it's worth, when he figured out it exceeds $1k so it would be a felony theft if he were discovered trying to sell the stolen product. Might have just dumped it in the changing room to get rid of it. I have heard of similar stories. Despite common belief thieves don't usually like to steal gigantic portions of money at a time, rather preferring to steal small amounts at a time so if they get busted anywhere "oh it's just $50" and they get a slap on the wrist like probation

Rodina is 38MM, and that looks like a good size for your wrists.

If you are looking for the Rodina / Bahaus look you have very limited options.

Rodina = Entry Level Mechanical

Stowa = Mid Tier Mechanical

Nomos = High End Mechanical

Some other brands that also encapsulate the bauhaus style are Zeppelin, Junkers, and Junghans.

Rodina is a perfectly respectable watch that is functional and saves money to invest in other entry level stuff. Give it time and do your research until you step up to the mid tier and eventually the high end. Your taste will change over time so I never recommend jumping into a particular style (Bauhaus, Diver, Pilot, Chrono, etc etc) until you have owned an entry level version of it for at least a year. I see so many buyers remorse threads for people who sink thousands into a speedmaster or submariner and end up selling it a year or two later. They do hold most of their value but the majority of the time you will still walk away with a small loss.

Depends on your wardrobe.

If you are typical /fa/ then Orient Mako will fit what you wear

or if you have a quirky wardrobe then: Orient Disk (rainbow color)

Shop for Orient watches on amazon because it's cheaper. They have a nice piece I forgot the name of but it has a nice brown leather strap and looks classy. That would be a good watch to buy if you have the inner city businessman vibe. I wouldn't be scared to drop $200 on an Orient, you'll get that back in quality and it will last you for your life time, and it's only +50 from what you were looking for.
