I have the whites of the adidas rod laver, but they appear to only be sold in EU(dont know why) and as of now i live in the US and simply cant find them anywhere in black... Its a really good shoe tho, such a shame.

No i want an alternative, first of all CP's is a graet shoe, but for the quality you get, not worth 400 bucks, unlike the plebs on here will preach (because they think they know what premium leather and stiching is) Also there is a HUGE quality gap from lets say a stan smith and a rep CP shoe (the stan smiths being faar the better, jesus christ).

So no i dont want the real deal, as i think they are way overpriced. I am looking for a minimalist black tennis shoe, just using the CP as an example.

CP's are worth 400$. It has more to do with the integrated arch support than it does the quality of leather. The leather quality is superb, but the inner workings of the shoe are just as important if not more so. They are quality all around, and they are popular because its the best bang (or value) for your buck.

Cp's are very high quality shoes any you probably won't get any better [Sneakers] in that price range (unless you get custom shoes)
Nevertheless, don't try to tell people they are selling the shoe 400$ to prevent a loss.
That's not true and I doubt they made a loss at 265$ (unless you present a source).
It's obvious that 400$ is probably a lot more than production (+materials,distribution etc) but that's completely normal in todays industry.
Lastly I'd say they aren't neccessairly equal to 800$ sneakers. They are definetley better than KVA which used to be in the 500$ price range, but if you've handled Velcros you'd have to agree the leather is much softer and buttery (both made in italy, same sole)

kva has been known to be inconsistent with quality. i would believe the italian raf velcros to be nicer.. but not Portugal. I would still doubt your 'account' about the rafs being higher quality because the common projects leather is extremely high quality and leaves little room for improvement. And even then my point is made. Even if Italian velcros are noticeably higher quality they are well above double the price.

It is a damn good shoe (the white one i have) and not as broad as other adidas models, very clean and minimalist look.. Fuck everything for them not being sold in the US
