Have any of you thought about integrating milsurp into your fits? I might get this Soviet officer's cap and wear it like a typical baseball cap. The earflaps look nice for the fall, too.

I would take off or replace the pin; not to be PC but just because it's gaudy.

But it looks so boring to me without the pin. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the input a lot, but I'll take some convincing on that point.

>> No.10206649

The pin is a bit gaudy, not to mention the whole "edgy" factor. What about a swiss or German field cap?

I think it should be fine if you don't get a camo one. Most people probably won't recognize it as military.

How edgy would a Soviet pin be, anyway? I don't imagine it's anywhere near as bad as a swastika or ISIS flag or something. But maybe I'm wrong. Would I get dirty looks or spat on if I wore it in public?

I'd probably pass it off as something I bought from a thrift shop.

Depends. Generally loose for shirts, pants, and jackets because military needs to move around in combat situations.

most milsurp providers sell shit at such a markup it's awful. If you're in the states, go to a gun show, you'll get a better deal at those

I advise you not to buy any milsurp if you do not know how the specific army sizes its clothing. Don't ask on /fa/ either, the most knowledgeable person on the topic left years ago. Not all milsurp is baggy. You just need to size it correctly.

I actually bought a hammer and sickle-ushanka from Russia and wore it for one winter. I thought it looked nice, but I decided to let it go because my country has an awkward past with Soviet Union, so people might find it to be politically incorrect.

You'd be incorrect.

Conservitards are just as confrontational as Ultra-liberals.
