"hooligancore" has been a thing since day, football casual fashion is booming right now that's why you're seeing pure 15 year olds in clone island/stone thailand gear.

if you're talking about what people would call "chav" or "scally" kind of clothing then it's definitely becoming a more mainstream look. a lot of UK streetwear people seem to be wearing shit that was worn on every council estate in the UK in 2005. almost completely down to the recent mainstream success of skepta bringing back the the white trackies and tns/helly hansen all black etc look. it's a fucking weird thing to see cause most kids on council estates dress in grey cotton track suits, northface gillets, stone island/gucci hats, manbags etc and moved away from that look a long time ago
