Which sucks because they make they're shit in China. Either that or the one pair I bought happened to be made in China. Loose threads all around , it was astonishing that I paid 156 after shipping for them when I could buy actual Balmain fakes (kek) for 1/3 that

yeah i understand that balmain didn't invent biker jeans, but if i saw someone in that fit, i would think they were a hypefag who couldn't afford actual balmain, like someone wearing those cp alternatives

>> No.10121682

Notwithstanding the Balmain dispute above, I think they can look good. Depends on the outfit. Much more of a fan of them in black, the tones of blue in the OP photo seem a bit much somehow.

>> No.10121683

>>10121667
hate to tell you but they were popular before Balmain

Helmut Lang was doing biker jeans as early as 1998. He's probably the one who popularized them, though Balmain certainly brought the style to a larger audience around 2010 when Decarnin released his first take on them.

Nah. Represent seems to copy a lot from HL recently and as for FoGLA, idk.

But both seems to go for a similar aesthetic. Though FoGLA stuff are overpriced IMO.

love my balmain bikers. I definitely want another pair at some point, although I cry about how much I spent on them sometimes.

all of these "knockoff" biker designs are pretty lame, but only because they always look so cheap to me. the washes are always tacky or the ribbing details are just poorly done, and if they try to change up the panelling they just end up looking too busy. not to be that guy but i don't think I've ever seen a pair of non-balmain biker jeans that I've liked (not that I like all of their washes either tbh but the ones that get it right, are excellent)

balmain ones are nice, good cut and they have some cool distressed washes if that's your thing. represent are garbage though, they can't even stitch the ribbing on straight and they fit like you stole your sister's forever 21 jeggings. from the pictures i've seen the quality of the denim also looks straight out of forever 21.
