i've heard also that skin tone has a lot to do with what shade of blonde to dye it. I have a mediterranean/olive skin tone so should I do a more natural blonde over platinum?

A few tips for bleaching your hair:
-You probably shouldn't do it.
-If you're ugly, it will make you look uglier.

Maintenance in terms of keeping your hair white/platinum.
-Swimming pools will turn it green.
(Use lemon juice to get rid of it)

-Roots will show after the first week.
(Redo them every 25-30 day)

-Your hair will naturally start to yellow/orange itself.
(Use a purple shampoo to cancel those tones)

-Your hair will be stripped of all its natural oils and be very susceptible to damage.
(Avoid direct sunlight for long periods of time and use a leave in conditioner once a week)

you look pretty good. Don't cut it, just use a purple toner and try to cool the yellow shade and it will look great

Doesn't look half bad. Just stay clean shaven and run some purple toner through your hair. Once there's a a little regrowth visible it'll look great. It's one of those hairstyles that needs to look a little lived in.

My hair has been platinum for a few months right now.

Also had it platinum for a few months in 2009ish.

Experience is limited but my sister is a stylist so I've been exposed to this for the last 10 years.

I use hanz de fuko shampoo & conditioner, condition every 3 days but my hair could be different to yours so you will have to test how your hair responds.

I wanted really messy bleached hair with a little visible regrowth so I often wash my hair then sleep with product in for the next day.
