wool pants. how do i wash them, got several of them during the whole /fa/ wool pants craze.

dry washing 10 pairs of wool pants every few months can be expensive.
is it ok to wash them in a top load washing machine set to the 'wool' cycle?

I've only ever had one pair of wool pants shrink on me doing a machine wash, just try it out with one of the fucking TEN you got, if fails do a try a hand wash.

Usually if the wool percentage is low you can machine wash and dry without worry, or get a pill shaver if youre worried. Some wool blends from the 70s/80s are like magic and don't even pill even after machine wash/dry I think they probably use some kind of weird chemical to do that.

>>10110626
Look at the tag on the inside.

Usually washing wool is fine, putting them in the dryer rubs the fabric and makes it pill like crazy to the point of being ruined.

I've never seen suit/wool pants that weren't dry clean only.

If it has a tag that says woolmark or something they can be machine washed. I think uniqlo offers something similar where their wool is care-free.

Once a month is a lot. Wool pants clean themselves quite well. Like wool sweaters, just hang them outside for an hour and they're practically fresh.

Not him but be careful buying brands on asos.com, they love to markup shit. I mean this is on sale so it's okay but their retail prices are always +X
