Most piercers recommend 2 months before you start messing with your jewelry, but it all comes down to your hygiene, if you're properly sanitizing and cleaning with salt water and other such principles. You might be able to get away with 6 months if you really keep up with it.

At the end of the day though you can go earlier but it all comes down to how much you wanna risk rejection or scarring.

I agree with the first part of the post, disagree with the second (probably a hyperbole). His cheeks may be the most prominent feature but the rest is sculpted as well - his face has an overall "chiselled" look which is aesthetic and not necessarily "handsome", there are tons of better looking asian and half asian models around that don't look as "intimidating" as this guy.

I replaced my initial piercing a day after, I have no sense of patience. You can pull one off however your style, just make sure to dress in the same way as you are trying to express yourself with the jewelry. Go with your views on life, or whatever. Just find out the kind of person you feel you are, and dress to match, don't use the singular piercing as a way to show just a part of you. that's how you can pull it off.
I didn't clean mine with sea salt or anything special, just soap, it took months before it fully healed, but its not exactly a spot where you're going to accidently rip it out (I hope).
