The dollar isn't raping anything. The euro lowered itself (through an increase in printed and coined physical currency) to be more competitive and to attract buyers to buy on the European market. Apparently, it's working.

Either they're fake, or there are multiple versions. I put together a chart for you OP since I have nothing better to do with my time than stop you getting scammed.

1. Aside from the obvious different coloured soles, the most obvious difference is the shape of the shoe at the ankle, see pic related. This is also much more frumpy than it should be, real ones are still.

2. The numbers on the tongue are too big and out of place

3. Kinda hard to see, but the word SPORT should be all upper case.

Again, why would someone make fakes of these? The real ones go for under 30 bucks, there is no money to be made with these. Not to mention there isn't huge market for army trainers to begin with even though Margiela made these famous.

From my experience even 'same' model surplus stuff might have minor differences due to them being made in different factories, Gorkas for example. This is probably a case of the shoes being manufactured different year.
