Are minimal shoes worth it, /fa/?
I was unaware of zero drop shoes before. I found a company that claims they make everything locally by hand and that they don't outsurce. Plus, reviews say they actually last a long time. And whenever I read "made to last", "no outsurcing" et all I go nuts.

So... Should I or it's a bad idea?

minimal shoes are great for running but there's no real benefit to just wearing them every day
and those are unbelievably fucking ugly and not in the slightest /fa/

For athletic purposes, there is an increasing amount of literature indicating that minimalist running shoes like Vibrams are not nearly as good as purpose-built shoes. I suppose lifting in Vibrams is better than lifting in NBs or something, but that's a bit of an outlier case.

Those shoes (made by Soft Star, apparently) look bad in every photo I have seen. Frankly, there are plenty of other more attractive options available to you - don't go for the ones that will be mistaken for weird socks.

No they aren't. There is no arch support.

ultimately OP, weight the risk of the shoe sucking against the cost of the shoe.. simple as that

if you have the confidence, you can definitely pull off a basic but kinda quirky shoe like that. it might even get you looks/compliments
