I love that jacket but that version is not leather, it's an Italian rubberized cotton. What I love about it is that it ages gracefully like leather but it's also waterproof. I standing in line for a bar and the rain came down and everyone ran for shelter and I was liek "perfect night for patty e, yo." It's also not super hot so I can wear it during the summer at night or layer with it in the fall and spring.

I'll post this here so I don't have to make a new thread.

So I've got a black leather jacket with one sleeve turning green. It's not even old, I got it about 2 years ago. What's funny is that only the patch that covers the upper part of my left arm is turning green, the stitching draws a line so you can clearly see that it's just that spot. It looks like sun damage.

I love my leather jacket. Is there a way to repair this? Can I bring this to a some kind of leatherworker?

If it wasn't on me it was on the coat hanger next to the door outside in my house. It's never been totally soaked from the rain nor has it been in the sun for abnormally long durations. Any ideas?

Yeah okay, here you go.

I took the photos using flash so it distorts the color a bit. It doesn't look that green allover, really. Though it's probably the same stuff that's on the left sleeve, but the sleeve only has an extreme case of it.

Yeah, they're surprisingly sturdy, I had the down jacket with leather sleeves for about two years before reselling it. I've felt other undercover leathers but never owned them, but they all seem pretty reliable. Thick and well cut. Dunno if there's anything super soft from them though.
