White low tops, yea. Stans or Shoes like Pottery work well, because leather and canvas. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Shoes like Pottery (too Conversey and too clown shoey) but if you have proportionally small feet, I guess they wouldn't look bad.

As for the other casual sneaker to get, the style is up to you. First thing to come to mind is something like Roshes. Maybe get something else because Roshes are meme. Try flyknits in black (I have pic related and I like em).

I have two parkas: one by alpha industries (olive) and one by cheap monday (navy.) Both excellent parkas. Alpha industries will really keep you warm, while cheap monday just looks really nice and clean, but isn't good for weather. If you want a clean silhouette, try cheap monday. If you want to stay warm, maybe look into alpha industries (obviously these are the pleb brands, but for these I can give you first-hand experience with the jackets).

Color should be something netural. Black, navy, or olive. If you go for monochrome fits, go for black. If you wear too much navy and don't wanna look matchy matchy, go for olive. Otherwise, go navy. Don't know why but I like wearing a navy parka with black skinnies

Hi friends
I have about 1000 USD and I want to cop some new threads. I kinda want a black denim jacket and some slightly longer drapey t-shirts / shirts.
How would you guys spend this money? Where should I look?
Thanks everyone

All for free, and even a new pair if its that beat. Wanted to see if someone had experience. Not really laughable if people are reporting this happening

After all if they cost 10xs as much as a pair of redwings id assume they have great customer service like them.

set on getting birks, got a few questions for ppl that have them:
>sizing?
i've heard both size down a whole size and stay TTS, so not sure which size to go for
>difference in leathers
could be up to opinion, but what's the best leather type? i want to stick with real leather, so the options are regular, oiled, or waxed leather. kind of leaning towards oiled since it's apparently softer and more matte
>w2c?
ive already found a few shops on ebay to get them for ~$75 after shipping, but if there's anywhere to get them new and legit for any cheaper then i'm all ears

I've owned a pair of tornados in the past and depending on the leather code, the leather is fantastic and the quality and build is pretty good. I personally don't have a lot of love for folded derbies or the drip sneakers though. Rick Boots are also great. I still have my pair of moto creepers. you like it because the model is attractive, but I guarantee you, you'll look like shit
he's layering a heathered light gray pullover hooded sweatshirt over a wide/non-buttoned-collar shirt(over muscles you don't have), with olive shorts, on dark/light brown boots
ignoring that style and color abomination, look at his right foot, which is in a position you'll actually have your legs in (and not arranged just to demonstrate that, surprise, earth tones look nice on each other). it's passable, because the fit is so loud and disjointed that you barely notice it, but it doesn't remotely benefit from being a pair of chukkas, it's just a clear downgrade from being a pair of loafers/boat shoes (if the fit was redesigned for a cleaner prep look) or simple lowtops (if it was pivoted to focus on the basic chino shorts/hoodie stuff, though even that's ridiculous, as you'd never have 2-3 layers over shorts)
they're bulky, loud, not very interesting, and you can trivially find better shoes for any occasion you'd be wearing shorts in
just because you can find a picture that demonstrates them being used with shorts doesn't mean you should use them with shorts.

how do i be effay my way? like, how do i incorporate my own personality into actually looking good?

ive got a bunch of tattoos and like music but the only styles i can think that are associated with my kinda interests are patch covered denim vest metalhead or these short sleeved button up urbanoutfitter-core types.

help me out /fa/, i just wanna look like i give a shit about my appearance again instead of just black 511s that are too big and band tees but i dont know where to turn. plus ive got a lot going against me; short, stocky, mexican. so i think clothes generally just look weird on me.

where can i find inspo or something?

seriously, there's little I can tell you that isn't just to lurk fa (inspo rather than waywt, the board's kind of gone to shit in that regard) or look at peoples' fits around you (assuming you live in a decently interesting city) until you find interesting styles that appeal to you
I will say that you seem to conflate cultures and clothing. While there's linkage, you can still draw inspiration from communities you don't belong to, and you don't need to shoehorn yourself into one you do belong to.

So i was thinking about getting some N&F skinny buys in black stretch cause my black levis i just bought shrunk and now it just crushes my nuts. I dont really care much about sick fades i just want some nicer jeans. If i soak them one time before wearing will that help prevent dye getting on all my chairs and shoes and stuff?

Find a store that sells them near you and actually try them on before you buy them. Best advice I can give you. Do not order them online. If you do not live in a place where they sell common projects within an hour to hour and a half drive, you are too rural and should instead opt for something more reasonable to your setting. I know from experience. I live in LA and used to live in nowheresville, nevada. Please try things on irl before you buy them. Don't be stupid. This goes for the rest of the board as well. Please start trying things on irl first, please. It will aid all of you immensely.

> is it even possible
Maybe. Facial fat can act weird. On some people its the first thing that goes, on others its the last, and on quite a few it just...never goes. Get your body fat % measured. If there's room to cut down a bit, try that first. If after that the fat is still there, you'll either have to learn to live with it, or go for a consultation at an aesthetic surgeon. I plan on having the two-for-one combo in a couple years - chin implant + spot lipo around the jawline.

> should I start running again
Sure, why not? Did you like it? Did it make you feel accomplished at the end of a run? Always good to try and stay fit and keep in good health.

Is this a general questions thread? Not sure what a fuccboi is but I guess that's me...

Anyway, I'm a transitioning male to female degenerate tranny. Right now I'm not confident enough in my looks to try and pass as a girl so I'm settling for effeminate male until such a time. I'd like to dress androgynously. What styles would you guys recommend?

I've never been a fashionable person. Most of the clothes I have are quite ill fitting. For example, every shirt I have drapes over my body like a cloak. I need to find stuff that actually hugs my body/back. Or maybe I have a very large chest... I don't know.

Any advice would be swell.

I'm happy to send pictures but probably not on here. I'll provide my Skype if anyone wants it.

Thanks again!
