So is it weird if someone regularly dresses in different styles? I don't mean mallochrome to goofninja but I mean what if one day of a week I'm wearing a pale fit and the next day its Americana or something like that?

People usually go for one aesthetic, but what about multiple aesthetics provided you pull them off well? What does everyone think of that?

>> No.10030418

>>10030335
you mean like lightwash jeans, CP style white shoes, light sweater one day and then dark wash jeans, boots, etc on another?

I think you can pull off anything you want at any given time - if you feel comfortable with it. I'll sometimes brake away from pinrolling my tapered raws with a black sweater and sneakers to something like skinnies with drapey tops and low converse.

I feel good wearing both and as soon as that's true - it isn't awkward.

It can come as a shock to others that there's 'another side' to you, but that shouldn't demotivate you from wearing whatever you want.

By saying 'regularly dresses in different styles' it might become less of a surprise to people.

Also - americana and pale wave are both pretty inoffensive styles that are difficult to fuck up to the point of awkwardness, but that's why we're here.

I'm the same way. For instance, I'm typically more of a "rugged" style person. I enjoy darker jeans with dark brown desert / chukka boots and some kind of button up top. Other days, I feel like dressing pale.

>>10030438
yeah i usually switch it up but im exploring more styles anyway

But good point, both are inoffensive. No jewelwave shit or anything super odd.

Monochrome one should be in the sticky as an entry level fit. Because from there you can expand as you like (I mean really, with black jeans you can wear anything) and then expand your colors like you first start with black/white/grey then add some other dark colors like navy and dark burgundy and so on. Because this way it's much easier for beginner to learn the color theory and he will still have at least 3 or 4 simple yet very nice looking outfits. It's much better than giving him a checklist of things he must buy but inm the end he doesn't know what to do with them.

>People usually go for one aesthetic

I don't understand this mindset....it's not like people go "OK I have found my style! Now I'm going to stick to it and NEVER waver! Awesome!"

why the hell would anyone limit their "potential" to one aesthetic?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with wearing different types of fits, as long as you stay true to who you are and what you want.

I like to "switch" it up, but still keep a general theme, aka my personality. I could be wearing menswear one day, and then comfycore the next. Monochrome one week, palewave the next.

There's nothing wrong with playing around with fashion. It's a work in progress. how are you ever going to find out what suits you/what you like if you don't experiment?
