I am experimenting with my hair, i generally wear my hair pretty short like a crew cut, but have grown bored with that. I look like a mexican thug when i get a buzz cut, so going even shorter than i normally do is out of the question. I want to know if you guys think i could pull of long hair. My hair grows out pretty thick but i can easily train it to grow down. Only thing is i have patchy facial hair so if i were to go down the long hair road i'd probably have to be clean shaven. Is it possible to pull of long hair without a beard ?

Thanks guys, I've heard the sides are too long before, how should I fix them? I feel like a lot of the time when the side of my hair gets short it makes me look younger? Should I just get the sides shorter or tighter into my head?
