Thank you; I've been wearing it a lot, and trying to overcome the lack of legibility. I'm so used to glancing at my watch for a quick second and immediately seeing the time, chronograph elapsed time, and so forth...but with this one, I have to angle it first, then stare....it's a bit unnerving. The hands are beautifully reflective, but because they're flat, any head-on view makes them totally black. Then, to add insult to injury, the broad arrow hands obscure the subdials most of the time, so it's really not practical for my needs. It's the first watch I have that is totally for the looks...and I'm curious if that will be enough.

As a side-note, it was nice to see the Omega release of the 'new' replica with the metallic blue dial - I think it looks great, but the legibility of it will suffer yet again. But I was tempted last night, since I don't have a 3861 yet.

Nice that you came from the sauna - those are great for health, and enjoyable with company.

Nice combo! How is the 3861 running? I've been tempted to pick one up, since everyone says nothing but great things about the performance.

Drunken thought: Did you guys know that the Reverso sapphire crystal is curved from side to side but not top to bottom? Fucking awesome....
