I once bought drkshdw cargos at the rick store, on sale but still at a very hefty price for me. I paid cash from this wad of twenties I'd been saving up, and I remember wondering where they were going to put the cash because the desk on which the registers sat seemed to be this single block of solid wood. When I'd counted out the complete amount one of them hit a button and a little drawer slid out.
I felt a bit embarrassed for having to keep count under my breath, but Rick's stores are pretty intimidating places to begin with. It's not the same experience as paying cash at Home Depot, you know? Your mind races, you can't think because of all the heavy bass lines and rock crystal. The racks of leathers. The mirrors and raw concrete.

I mentioned Ramellzee earlier in the thread, 1980's Afro futurist? He did a lot of post-apocalyptic punk and hip-hop outifts, George Clinton after the bomb, that sort of thing. Here's some of his work.
