does anybody else feel like their outfits are best when they just throw something on without thinking? not even because you gravitate toward certain staples

in a similar vein, I feel like a lot of items that I have absolutely no interest in at first glance and likely wouldn't buy if I were online shopping and going for one or two of my favorite items end up being my most worn / most liked items? can anyone relate?
maybe it has to do with me being so finicky about wearing / ruining my "nice" things I end up going for comparably worse items because I can wear it without trepidation
maybe the things that wow me at first end up being less versatile and practical

I'd like to hear from anyone who has similar thoughts
