I'm posting this just to type it out. IDGAF if anyone reads it.

I've been seeing this girl for many months, and she texts me saying to come hang out with her and a friend Thursday.
I hate hanging out with her friends, for obvious reasons
>Katie's insecure (and depressed)
>constantly texting them "worried" about where there are

In fact normally i'd decline, but for whatever reason I said I'd go

I decide to get there later, hoping they'd already be drunk enough and easy to work with, but nope. Katie won't stop texting, telling me all about it
>"i'm such a good friend!"
>"they get pissed when i go with a guy and they don't"
>i briefly forget the futility of using common sense to reason with girls and try talking to her about the problem
>her: "my friend is the best! she's like a model!"

and now i know the problem: see, it isn't just men who suck up to hot women, it's women too. they all want to be associated with the hot girl. it doesn't matter how hot Katie is, because she doesn't feel hot compared to this other girl who is way more popular.

Other girl shows up, we'll call her Asia since i forgot her dumb asian name.
She is a straight 10/10 with the personality issues and entitlement problems to go with it.
She just has to tell Katie about why she's all alone

Then she convinces herself she still wants to see him (obviously) so she's gonna wait for him at his place
