Just some general hair tips from me :

1) Not hair-related but the most important thing in your appearance is to lower body fat. For most Asians, when you gain weight it shows up in the face first making it even more rounder and less chiseled.
2) Shorter hair is more masculine and as an Asian guy you want to look as masculine as possible. The current trend is short sides and longer top which is great for Asians since short sides elongate the face. If you are bigger / tall, I highly recommend an undercut with a much longer top because that is the style today. If you are shorter / skinny, keep your sides a little longer but please trim the sideburns and around the ears. Stuff like this here >>9657117 looks awful & sloppy and to answer anon 'yes you should grow out your bangs'.
3) Asian hair is great because it is thick / volume but it has zero texture and at shorter lengths it just sticks out. If you want it tame it, just buy a $20 curling iron / straightener and bend it toward your skull.
4) One thing about short hairstyles is that it needs maintenance and if you dont want to go to a barber every 2 weeks, buy hair clippers and do it the trimming yourself.
5) I am surprised, this is the first time this is mentioned in this thread but hair wax is a MUST for any Asian guy. Regular hair gel and other products dont work on Asian hair.
