Objectively not true. Have you not been following this whole 'Gender is Over' thing? My friend created this shirt and she's the last person who would browse /fa/. Now Miley Cyrus, a role model to millions of impressionable mainstream youths is sporting one. In the past year or two, lots of celebrities have also come out as gay or bisexual and have styled themselves in a much more gender-neutral light.

I'm not saying everyone's on board. Of course there's resistance, mainly from older people, but it's clear that young people are embracing a diversity that includes gender as well as more traditional categories like race.
