Oh yeah, my concern is mainly about losing volume, which would make any styling pretty plain. I will look into some straightening methods to understand more about it.

The trimming stuff I've found doesn't seem very convincing, though. I looked at my bangs for a few minutes and couldn't find a single split hair, and it's been 11 months since I last cut it. These articles tell me to trim every 6~8 weeks to avoid it. What the fuck.
