Solovair and Docs (mie) are great at their price point. You'll be spending 50-75 quid more for any other made in England shoe, e.g. Nps or Sanders.

Build quality between the two is about the same. Solovair soles are harder wearing but no where near as bouncy.

I have a pair of Solovair, Clarks by Nps and a pair of Rw and the quality is similar. The differences here are whether you want calf leather or oiled.

Copper Rough and Tough is great.

One of my Solovair boots was pinched or warped. Creased very weirdly and never quite went normal after lots of wear. Cosmetic issue though I reckon.
