In their era they were pretty darn unique.
>Clean simple aesthetics designed with the user in mind.
>Innovated a lot with plastics, made them look good and feel nice.
>Overbuild to a ridiculous standard and 'made in Germany'

Take for instance their famous citrus juicer, at first sight it's a plain simple device, but look closer and you see the smooth lines and lack of clutter without looking or feeling cheap.
Functions? It only has two: juice by putting pressure on the juicer and that little spout that flips up to interest flow.
But it works.
And unlike modern juicers with 5000 parts, cleanup is easy, just two parts of which all nooks and crannies can be easily reached and are dishwasher safe anyway.

And it really is built to last, they always work, it doesn't matter if they are 20-40 years old. Take your coffee grinder, it works. I've yet to come across a Braun product from that era that didn't work and i've flipped thousands of Braun products on eBay.

The philosophy with Braun in the Rams era was to make the best functional and usual product for a task whilst being a product that doesn’t age prematurely, which won’t become out of style.

Products that will remain neutral, that you can live with longer.
Modern day Braun has lost a lot of that charm.
