99% of the time it just means you prefer how it looks.
Claiming that X is better than Y usually implies that X is superior from a technical point of view. Aesthetics are irrelevant (or else just say you prefer X's looks over Y).
But what are the technical specs that truly matters when talking about watches?
>accuracy
>power reserve
>maybe choc and magnetic resistance
>good engineering, that will make the watch stands the test of time
Whenever someone say that X is better than Y in a watch thread, the honest thing to do is to ask them to bring evidence that X is more accurate, has a better power reserve and is better engineered.

i've just always been fond of the house style as well as cifonelli's, which I think look the nicest. apparently everything is handmade there too. some tailor I talked to said they only had two sewing machines in their atelier and they were rarely used
