have you looked at any alternatives at all? IWC is a dogshit brand, try to avoid it
Laco, Sinn, Damasko, basically anything german should be making a watch like that, save for the gold case and green dial
it's a flieger chronograph with a day and date, there really are better alternatives than spending 20k of which you can't afford on your first watch
also, chronographs are babys first watch obsessions, do you really need the function or do you like how the subdials and a busy dial looks?

the feeling would mostly be from your wallet, there is not a single watch in the world that would be 1000x better than a bottom of the barrel seiko or even some chinkshit, never trust msrp prices as an indication for quality
