In addition to the other watches suggested to you, you should also consider the Citizen PMD56-2952. It's an excellent modern pilots watch, with the only downsides being the need to emulate the Japanese radio atomic sync frequency (easy to do these days) and the end-link to lug fitment not being the tightest. I bought one recently and I'm really enjoying it a lot.

Those last two Citizens are 40mm rather than the 41.5mm of the Oceanus or the 42mm and 44mm of the first two Citizens. Design wise I like the Oceanus best here, and it will have world radio atomic sync (those Citizens are Japan only radio sync unless you emulate the freq), but I've also heard the second hand alignment isn't always dead on and you can't manually correct it, while you can on the Citizens.

I recently bought a Citizen PMD56-2952 and I'm very happy with it. Second hand alignment was perfect out of the box.

The lug to lug is pretty short at 45-46mm, and with the dial being relatively small to the case size due to the large chapter ring and bezel, I assume it wears smaller than its case size.

The Citizen PMD56 I got has a 39.5mm case but wears like a 37-38mm watch because of short 45mm lug to lug and a smallish dial due to a similar large chapter ring and bezel.

Have you looked at one of these?
