So my hair is really dry. It has been this way ever since the I moved to Las Vegas 11 years ago. My hair used to look like pic related when I was 11 now it looks completely dried out with no shine. During the time there I also had an extreme amount of flakes. I've been back on the east side for about 3 years now yet my hair is still dry. Just a couple months ago I started using H&S Dry Scalp shampoo for my slight flakes and it has now gone away completely but my hair is still dry as fuck. The only time my hair shines is for the first 30 minutes after I get out of the shower. I have tried Coconut oil and I use the Curl Enhancer Smoothie every now and then. What can I do to fix this?

>never grew back the same again

Is there a way to improve my curls in my hair? I am currently out of that dry ass state and want to fix my hair. I know hair changes as you grow older but still. Basically my hair looked like pic related before but now it is just dry and dull with small curls. It looks decent right when I get out of the shower but after like an hour it just drys back up. Any products you guys recommend?
