I try not to purge, but ultimately I end up doing so once every month or two. Obviously it's not the healthiest, but if I binged or ate something really bad for me, it feels like the best option. I'd rather puke it up than have it stay in me.
That being said, I try not to because it encourages poor self-control, and you won't get very far/maintain if you can't regulate your own eating
