Hi /frag/, it's the incense-obsessed anon again. Here's my morning line-up of Japanese incense for today (I tend to start the day with some lighter Japanese sticks and switch over to louder Indian-style stuff later on):
1. Minorien Fu-in Sandalwood (clean, pure, properly damp sandalwood to start the day)

2. Shoyeido Moss Garden (pleasantly sweet sandalwood-based stick with whispers of wet leaves and distant campfires) ->
3. Baieido Tokusen Kobunboku (complex sandalwood/aloeswood blend that took me a while to "get" but now that I have, it's super addictive. It reminds me of an old bookcase filled with leather-bound encyclopedias. Will probably burn 2-3 of these 30-minute sticks in a row) ->
4. Minorien Fu-in Aloeswood (like their sandalwood stick, Minorien's aloeswood is a pure, austere representation of the wood. With Japanese aloeswood-based incense both the cost and complexity can go through the roof; this is their "entry-level" stick)
