Mine looks pretty weak until 2 or 3 months, and the middle doesn't grow all that great... but it really is about patience.

I'm maybe a year in without trimming and I know some guys can grow what I have in less than half the time. So you might need 4 months or even longer sometimes. I'm also in my early 20s, and hair grows faster as you get older, so if you're still younger, you'll notice this changes with time.
