Their marketing spin on it is that the constant-force tourbillon is in a single structure so it is on the same plane to increase efficiency and it's their first tourbillon and first skeletonized watch. It was built off their T0 concept movement. I certainly wouldn't spend that type of money on it but I guess there are at least 20 die hard GS fans who did.
