Thoughts on boot blousers? I rather find Knoch's use of überfallhose and keilhosen with schnürschuhe sans gamaschen or puttees rather dashing without being too larpy but I only have straight leg trousers, so I use boot blousers like those dang ol yanks. I know the other way hikers and landser did it was to stuff trouser legs into socks but I'm afraid that will stretch out the socks, do I just need more robust socks?
