Pretty Asian girls do it mainly by not having any harsh features or features that "stick out." It's kind of the same idea with Marilyn Monroe. If you study Marilyn Monroe's face you can see that she doesn't really have any noticeable features. (Subtle small nose, eyes have neither positive nor negative canthal tilt, lips are neither thin nor full). It's just a pleasant, balanced canvas.

White women tend to have certain features that can be harsh, like a big nose with a high nose bridge, prone to crows feet/wrinkles, thin lips... Black women too--big flat nose, big lips.

Asians have very subtle "unobtrusive" features, and this is the key I think.
