It depends on who serviced it. If Omega did the servicing, then it's worth it because that's about a 3rd of the value of the watch right there, and they would have replaced all parts that required replacing, as well as refinishing the outside (including bracelet) back to factory spec. If it was an independent, then no, it's not worth it and you should pay around 1700 USD or so.

This one is worth more because it's the chronometer-spec Valjoux 7750 triple calendar, so the price is okay. I would be careful of reddit though. Does it have the full set of links? What is the service history? etc.

Many people don't buy the Speedy Pros due to the size being too large, or the manual-wind issue, or of course, the cost. Given that Omega produced reliable watches in the 90s, they exist as a 'bargain' entry, similar to the 1960s Omega 3-handers which all have great movements but are bargain-basement in terms of price. Does anyone really care that the movement was an ETA? For one thing, it's easy to get parts and service...and that begins to matter when you consider that it's more difficult to find an independent who has the ability to properly service a coaxial.
