Yo that's p much how I roll too, switching between pale, comfycore, and minimalistic streetwear. I have pic related and they work with all three styles which is pretty nice, so they're the only shoes I wear (other than boots, sandals, and beaters when appropiate). Your example sounds fine. I can see palewave and americana overlapping, and you can put pieces from either style into an otherwise memechrome fit.
