i tried asking this in its own thread but got nothing, so ill post it in the feels thread

ive got an interview tomorrow to be an outfitter at trumaker

basically a menswear/tailoring startup from san francisco started by an ex levis/bonobos exec that has "outfitters" come to the homes and offices of guys who set up appointments, they get measured and talk about what types of shirts they need, then the outfitter orders them. p much tailored shirts for a pretty reasonable price point (around j crew pricing)

has anyone ever used trumaker, or worked for them? the job is commission based but it seems like they set up appointments for outfitters so it isnt just cold calls/door-to-door type shit

I just got a job for a catering company in Chicago. Apparently they work all the high profile events in the city: Yacht Club events, Oprah's going away party, etc

Is this /fa/?

I will be able to absorb the traits and culture of the patricians by observing them from afar

A question, /fa/

Let's say that you came upon or were given $25,000.

However, the catch is that you have to spend this entire amount on one of two things:

1. You can spend all of it on clothes, copping whatever grails you may want (keeping in mind the spending limit). Whatever items you want, but it must be spent on wearable items, accessories, and tailoring. You'll have the opportunity to craft your perfect outfit/wardrobe/garment (depending on your extravagance), and get the fit just right.

2. You have to spend it on experiences. Vacations, tickets to the opera, skydiving, the best restaurants in the world, visiting museums... Whatever experience you'd like to have. Buy tickets to a runway show, if you'd like. However, you will not be able to bring anything back other than pictures and the memory.

Which do you pick?
